• The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has taken a grim toll on adult care services in England. By 19 June 2020, there had been more than 30,500 excess deaths among care home residents and service users at home in England, and adult care staff have been around twice as likely to die from COVID-19 as other adults.
  • A complex combination of policies has been introduced to limit the impact of COVID-19 on people and society. We reviewed national government policies on adult social care in England during the first phase of the pandemic – from January to the end of May 2020.
  • As Joyfredwil healthcare limited we have put in place policies to protect our staff and service users during this difficult time as follows:
  • Regular COVID-19 testing for or staff.
  • Providing the necessary training to our staff on handling any suspected COVID-19 patients.
  • Providing the necessary PPE’S need by our staff when proving care to or service users.
  • Following the government regulations and policies that are COVID-19 related.
  • As a company we are committed to providing a safe environment for our staff and service users during this time to stop the spread of the virus.
